Bluetooth GPS receivers just receive satellite positionings signals . They work in conjunction with bluetooth compatible computers installed with somekind of mapping Software for GPS navigation.

Some bluetooth smartphones (such as Blackberries) and PDA’s that have a computer operating systems may install mapping software and use a GPS receiver too. Not all phones are able to use a bluetooth GPS receiver.
