Tutorial of GenIV Menu System v2.1 GPS Unlock Soft 1 of 2- GenIV UI
You can download the software here: www.geniv.com Demo and overview of the GenIV MS for unlocked GPS units. So far I got it running on an OMNITECH, MIO C320, and NOKIA 500 gps It makes a low cost GPS have the capabilities of units 3x or 4x the price The video shows a Omnitech gps but it work and runs the same on other gps units It should work on any unlocked WinCE5.0 based GPS units with minor adjustments. Features of GenIV MS at a glance: (as of v2.1) – 8 different gps software support – 4 different user interface to choose from – media player (music, video, picture) – Coexistence with MioPocket – Free up unused ram for better program execution – Enable automatic time sync with GPS – loads and runs quick and takes up relatively little overhead resources – Unit specific fixes and enhancements – TTS fixes for some softwares – Only 3 cats and 2 dogs harmed and one baby unfed/changed during testing.
It seem to operate a little bit slow. HAve you try to cacth satelite signal with this one ?
GenIV interface rocks!! However, some applications in the Control Panel are not solid and does not fit in the 480×272 display.
