Is there a GPS system out there that can track police? Is this possible? I know that sounds informal but typical police radars aren’t that dependable and they are annoying as hell.
I’m sure some police departments equip their cars with GPS devices so they know where their cars are. This would be a big safety help for the officers. But to get this information for yourself the police department you’re interested in would have to have a GPS system installed and you’d need to hack the police computer system.
No not yet.
Not that would be directly legal.Police are entitled to certain levels of secrecy for the purpose of their job of protecting the public’s safety.
Some networked GPS units such as The Dash may indicate possible speed traps.
If you aren’t doing anything illegal anyhow, you have nothing to worry about.
No, but one company is using laser technology used by the police to update its portable GPS systems.
